How To Turn Off Find My iPhone
If you are selling an Apple device, Find My iPhone must be turned off to sell to ecoATM. Make sure to also transfer or back up your personal information.
Find My iPhone now takes a minimum of one hour to be disabled and must be removed from your device in order to be sold to ecoATM.
- Open your Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Open the Find My section.
- Tap on Find My iPhone.
- Tap the switch to turn off Find My iPhone.
- Enter your Apple ID password.

How To Turn Off Find My iPhone via iCloud
If you are unable to power on your iPhone, you can turn off Activation Lock using Find Devices on iCloud.com.
- Go to iCloud.com and log in to your account.
- Navigate to the top right corner and select Find My from the menu of apps.
- Under All Devices, select the device you will remove.
- Click Remove this Device.
- Enter your Apple ID password and click Remove.
- Find My iPhone is now removed from your device. Please note that this process may take up to one hour to complete if you have Apple Stolen Device Protection enabled.
