Here at ecoATM, we reflect on our value of protecting our planet, including those who live on it. We’re reaching out to discuss the unexpected challenge that our world is facing with the rise of coronavirus. We’re here to let you know that like you, we are aware and understand the seriousness of the situation. We care deeply about the health and safety of those who visit our ecoATM kiosks.

While we stay up to date and continue with a preparedness plan, we are taking extra precaution to ensure that our customers can still sell and properly recycle their devices with peace of mind.

 

Here are some of the steps we’re taking at our kiosks: 

• Frequent cleaning of the kiosks and surrounding areas of the kiosk in discount and grocery stores
• Extra hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout several grocery store locations

We have reviewed CDC policies with all employees and implemented guidelines that instruct team members who experience cold or flu-like symptoms, or individuals who have been diagnosed through testing with COVID-19 to stay home and follow the CDC's instructions.

As we stay informed and monitor the situation, we will continue to provide communication with you during this time.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, we urge our customers to follow these healthy habits: 

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a household sprays or wipes
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds – if soap and water aren’t readily available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
• Stay home when you are sick
• Avoid contact with those who are sick
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
